As mentioned in the subject line, here is a brief description of the market situation during early June from the four perspectives of raw materials, exchange rates, shipping costs, and derivatives market to help more participants to have a clearer understanding of the China market and then make informed decisions.

1, Corn market | Slightly rising after a brief decline : at the beginning, the supply of corn spot market exceeded demand, which led to lower the corn price. On the 6th, due to the decrease in supplier shipments, the corn price stopped falling and rose. The average wholesale price was around CNY 2.40/Kg.

2, Exchange rate | Steady down : the central parity rate of CNY/USD rose from 7.189 to 7.180 at present. 

3, Shipping costs | Diverged by route, Hazardous chemicals acceptance tightened : the shipping cost of some routes has risen while that of some routes declined. Most shipping companies have tightened their order acceptance for hazardous chemicals.

4, derivatives market | Decline generally: the price of most derivatives fell around June 5, such as dextrose, maltodextrin, glucose syrup etc., but the price of crystalline fructose is still rising. 

Conclusion and suggestions: based on the above mentioned, although the price of corn declined, the FOB price of derivatives is basically stable due to the impact of exchange rates. But overall, the trend is suitable for regular order.
